Dorie’s Gougeres

All I can say is:

Forget the scarves, the fashion, the art, the architecture. Forget the history, the literature, the sex, the wine, the music. French greatness emanates from the great Burgundian nibble, gougeres.

These, from Dorie Greenspan’s Around My French Table, were stellar.

Oh, if only I were as smart and clever as you — wouldn’t what you wrote have been the perfect introduction to the recipe in the book?

You’re fabulous!
